6.1 Ownership and authority. You represent that You are the lawful owner of the Pet or are
otherwise duly authorised by the owner to place the Booking and to grant the authorisations contained in these Terms, including the authorisation under Clause 16 (Emergency Medical Situations).
6.2 Vaccination. You represent, warrant and undertake that, as on the date of each Booking,
the Pet:
(a) has been vaccinated against rabies and is otherwise vaccinated in accordance with
the vaccination schedule recommended by a registered veterinary practitioner, and that such vaccinations are current and not overdue;
(b) has been dewormed and treated for ticks, fleas and ectoparasites as recommended
by a registered veterinary practitioner; and
(c) is not suffering from, and has not within the preceding fourteen (14) days shown
symptoms of, any contagious or communicable disease or condition.
6.3 You shall upload legible copies of the current vaccination record of the Pet where the
Platform so requires, and shall produce the original vaccination card for inspection upon request. The Company may refuse or cancel a Booking where such records are not furnished or appear to be incomplete, expired or unreliable.
6.4 Municipal licence. Where Section 191B of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act, 1888,
or any other applicable municipal law, including the bye-laws of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, requires a licence or registration in respect of the keeping of a dog, You shall obtain and maintain such licence or registration, and You shall be solely responsible for compliance with the same.
6.5 Mandatory disclosures. At the time of registering the Pet and, in any event, prior to the
commencement of each Walk, You shall accurately and fully disclose on the Platform:
(a) the breed, approximate age, sex, weight and size category of the Pet, and whether
the Pet is sterilised or is in season;
(b) all pre-existing or current medical conditions, injuries, allergies, disabilities,
ongoing medication, recent surgery or post-operative restrictions, and any restriction on exercise or exertion advised by a veterinary practitioner;
(c) all behavioural traits or tendencies relevant to the safety of the Walker, the Pet,
other animals or the public, including any history of biting, snapping, nipping, lunging, growling, resource guarding, separation anxiety, aggression or reactivity towards persons, children, other dogs or animals, vehicles, cyclists or noises;
(d) the temperament tags applicable to the Pet, selected from the tags made available
on the Platform, in accordance with Clause 6.6;
(e) any tendency of the Pet to escape, slip its collar, bolt, pull excessively or refuse to
walk;
(f) any prior incident in which the Pet has caused injury to any person or animal, or
has been the subject of a complaint, notice or proceeding; and
(g) any specific handling instructions, commands, equipment requirements (such as
harness, muzzle or double-lead) or triggers to be avoided.
6.6 Temperament tags. At the time of creating the Pet profile, and prior to each Booking
where the Platform so requires, You shall select from the temperament tags made available on the Platform those tags which accurately and completely describe the temperament and behaviour of the Pet. You acknowledge that:
(a) the temperament tags are relied upon by the Company for the purpose of
allocating a Walker of appropriate competence and experience, and by the Walker for the purpose of determining the manner of handling the Pet;
(b) You shall select all tags which apply, and shall not omit, understate or misdescribe
any tag relating to aggression, reactivity, anxiety, pulling, escaping or any other trait bearing upon safety, whether in order to secure a Booking or otherwise;
(c) the selection of an incorrect or incomplete tag shall constitute a non-disclosure
and a misrepresentation for the purposes of Clauses 14 and 17, and shall entitle the Walker to refuse or discontinue the Walk and shall render You liable for all consequences arising therefrom; and
(d) You shall review and update the temperament tags whenever the behaviour of the
Pet changes, and in any event upon the occurrence of any incident.
6.7 Continuing obligation. The disclosures under Clauses 6.5 and 6.6 are a continuing
obligation. You shall promptly update the Platform, and shall inform the Walker prior to the commencement of the Walk, of any change in the health, behaviour or condition of the Pet, including any condition arising after the Booking is confirmed.
6.8 Equipment. You shall provide a properly fitted collar or harness, a leash in sound
condition, an identification tag and, where the Pet's behaviour so warrants, a muzzle. You warrant that such equipment is safe, appropriate for the size and strength of the Pet and free from defect. The Company and the Walker shall not be liable for any consequence arising from defective, unsuitable or ill-fitting equipment provided by You.
6.9 Ineligible pets. The Company may, at its discretion, decline to accept a Booking or may
remove a Pet from the Platform where, in its assessment, the Pet poses a risk to the Walker, to other animals or to the public, or where the Pet is not fit to be walked, including in the case of a Pet which is subject to any restriction under Applicable Law.
